Dripping Springs Chamber of Commerce recently held a
ribbon cutting for new member, Hill Country Acupuncture
& Herbal Clinic. Owners Jimmy I. Yen and Rita Cochran,
want to emphasize the importance of communication between
the practitioner and the patient.
Jimmy I. Yen is a Licensed Acupuncturist,
a Diplomat of Acupuncture, and Diplomat of Chinese Herbology.
He has a Bachelors Degree in Biochemistry and a Masters
in Oriental Medicine. Following Graduation, Jimmy was
employed as Director of Traditional Chinese Medicine
for the Texas Institute of Health in Waco, Texas. He
specializes in the use of Chinese Herbs and has focused
his studies in the fields of Gynecology, Internal Medicine,
Dermatology, Pain Management and TCM Cosmetics. Rita
Cochran, a 1984 graduate and member of the Superior
Deans list at TSU, has lived with her family in Dripping
Springs for 12 years.
For 17 years, Rita was a public school
educator, nine years of which she spent teaching 2nd
grade in the DSISD. She is currently a Senior Intern
at TCTCM where she has provided over 300 acupuncture
and herbal treatments. As Clinic Director of Hill Country
Acupuncture & Herbal Clinic, Rita’s goal is
to meet patient needs by effectively employing superior
communication skills, education qualifications and resources
and extensive experience working with the public to
provide exceptional quality health care.
Although the clinic offers basic services
such as Acupuncture, Chinese herbal medicine, Tui Na/Acupressure,
& TCM Dietary Therapy, they also offer special packages
including Age Reversal, Facial Rejuvenation, Body Sculpting
