Internet
All Chamber members are listed on our web-site in the Business Directory and receive a FREE link to your web-site and e-mail. Visitors to the site can search for businesses by Name or Category. Banner advertising and listing enhancements for your listing are available at an additional charge.
Membership Directory
Both on-line and printed, all Chamber members receive free listings in the annual Business/Membership Directory. The directory is used as a guide of recommended businesses in the Greater Dripping Springs area.
Newsletter
The
Enterprise is published monthly
(9 issues) and e-mailed or mailed to nearly 300 chamber members.
All new members and renewing members are listed in the publication,
and all members have an opportunity to advertise in the informative
newsletter.
Referrals
Members’ names and phone numbers are distributed to thousands of people inquiring each year about goods, services, shopping and visiting opportunities. The Chamber office is open six days a week most months of the year to serve its membership and the community.
Monthly Membership Meetings
The Chamber holds monthly
membership meetings the fourth Thursday of each month. These meetings feature
interesting speakers on matters affecting all businesses.
Business Socials
Business Socials are held quarterly and are a perfect opportunity to network with fellow business members. Chamber members may sponsor a Social and showcase their business.
Ribbon Cuttings
New members receive a free ribbon cutting ceremony hosted by the Greater Dripping Springs Area Chamber of Commerce. Chamber staff members arrange for local publicity of the event.
Workshops, Forums and Seminars
The Chamber hosts various workshops, forums and seminars for small business owners throughout the year. Past forums include Water & Wastewater in Dripping Springs, Pros & Cons of a Wet/Dry Election and Citizen Input on the Master Plan for Dripping Springs. Workshop and Seminar subjects include Marketing and Having an Effective Web Presence.
Tourism
The Chamber serves as the
Tourism/Visitor Information center for the city. Businesses are referred daily
concerning places to stay, eat, and shop.
Economic and Demographic Information
The Chamber serves as a
reference point for members when they seek the latest statistical trends for
business planning purposes.
Leadership Opportunities
Members have many
opportunities to take leadership roles in the Chamber including serving on a
committee or the Board of Directors.
Labels
Chamber members receive one
free set of membership labels per year. Additional sets may be purchased for a
nominal fee.
Brochures Displayed
Members may display flyers or
brochures in the Chamber office.
Representation
The Chamber acts as your
spokesperson, sales manager, goodwill ambassador and business agent. We are the
Business Voice of the Greater Dripping Springs Area.
Member Polls
By taking polls of the Membership throughout the year on various subjects, the Chamber makes sure it represents its members properly to local government officials who vote on issues that affect your business.
